Established in 1975, Alexander JLO’s property department has become one of the leading Residential Conveyancing Solicitor firms in London and the South East and was one of the first ten firms in the country to be awarded membership to the Conveyancing Quality Scheme. AJLO is proud to state that we are on the panel of all of the major high street UK Lenders as well as the vast majority of smaller lenders. Further the Property Department has a specialist New Build section dealing with purchasing off-plan properties and has links to a number of the country’s largest Residential Property Developers and Housing Associations. They are experts at dealing with the Shared Ownership and the Help to Buy schemes and have excelled in this area since the respective schemes launched. This section understands the needs and worries of a first time buyer and they are perfectly placed to ensure that our clients get on the property ladder in the most comfortable and reassuring of ways.

The property department also deals with everything our clients may need further down the line from properties being purchased under the Housing Act’s Right to Buy Scheme to the buying and selling of multi-million pound flats and houses. The department acts for clients throughout England and Wales and are themselves experts in dealing with leasehold properties, staircasing, remortgages and virtually every other type of residential land transaction you can think of.
