Key Worker discounts offered on homes at Saxon Reach, Milton Keynes
L&Q’s Saxon Reach development offers discounts for essential workers
Housing Association L&Q is launching a new initiative to support essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic, offering a £5,000 reduction on all homes at their Milton Keynes development, Saxon Reach.
The Keyworker Campaign will be on offer to all workers in essential sectors, with the reduction applying to homes available through both Shared Ownership and outright sale at Saxon Reach – a collection of 225 new homes just outside of Milton Keynes, ranging from one bedroom apartments to five bedroom homes.
Christine Osborne, Sales and Customer Services Director (Counties) at L&Q, comments “At L&Q, we believe that everyone should have a quality home that they can afford. There has never been a more crucial time to support people onto the property ladder – making sure that keyworkers and their families have the security and stability of home ownership. Our Keyworker Campaign is our way of expressing gratitude for the efforts of frontline workers, who are continually prioritising the wellbeing of others above themselves as they work to keep the country running.”
Additionally, L&Q have introduced a new Early Bird reservation process, giving all purchasers the opportunity to reserve their future home for £99, with added flexibility to claim a full refund if circumstances change.
Helping buyers view homes at Saxon Reach without leaving the house, L&Q have recently launched a collection of virtual property tours. Prospective homeowners can immerse themselves in a tour of both The Marston and The Dartmouth, the three and four bedroom show homes at Saxon Reach, taking an in-depth look at each room before getting in touch with the Saxon Reach sales team to make a reservation.
Buyers can explore that the premium fixtures, fittings and appliances that all homes at Saxon Reach come with at no additional cost to the buyer, as part of L&Q’s New-Build Homes: Quality Standard promise. The high quality homes feature Nobilia kitchens, complete with integrated appliances, while bathrooms feature sleek sanitaryware and chrome fixtures. Underfoot, all homes are fitted with premium Amtico flooring, plush carpet and gloss porcelain tiling. The bedroom is fitted with mirrored sliding wardrobes and the majority will have an en-suite, and all homes come with private outdoor space.
Set near picturesque Wavendon, Saxon Reach is part of the wider Glebe Farm development area, which is set to deliver a collection of retail and commercial facilities, along with a new school – welcoming children from primary age up to the end of secondary school. The development is conveniently placed for commuters; Milton Keynes Central railway station is an 11 minute drive from the development, with direct trains to London Euston taking 33 minutes.
