Guinness Homes: Shared Ownership at Signal Park and McArthur’s Yard
Show home launch and handover in London and Bristol
Show apartments are available to view at two of Guinness Homes’ recently announced locations in the South of England – Signal Park in Tolworth, London, and McArthur’s Yard in central Bristol.
On July 8th, prospective home-buyers were welcomed onsite at both locations to view the properties for the first time in the newly opened show homes and were met with guided tours and celebratory refreshments.
Phase One of the Signal Park development consists of a range of one, two and three bedroom Shared Ownership apartments, with prices starting from £87,500 for a 25% share in a property (full market value: £350,000). With apartments now ready to welcome residents, the first buyers are expected to move in later this month.
Situated within a three-minute walk of Tolworth station, the rail line leading through Tolworth station travels directly to Waterloo in 31 minutes, stopping at Clapham Junction and Vauxhall beforehand for convenient access into the city.
McArthur’s Yard is a new development situated in the heart of Bristol city centre, comprised of one, two, and three bedroom apartments, and two and three bedroom duplexes, which are available now for reservation. Prices start at £310,000 for a one bedroom apartment, and up to £725,000 for a three bedroom apartment. The homes are set to be ready to move in for summer 2024.
The site’s desirable harbourside location is within a 20-minute walk of the city centre and Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station, with local transport hubs offering easy access to major UK cities including Bath, Swindon, Cardiff and London.
Both sites have been shortlisted for First Time Buyer Awards: Signal Park as ‘Best New Off-Plan Development’, and McArthur’s Yard as ‘Best New Development in the South’.
Andrew Gilgannon, a new resident at Signal Park, said: “We’ve been looking forward to moving into our own home for such a long time, and the day has finally arrived. Our new apartment is just what we have been searching for. It’s amazing, with the open-plan kitchen being our favourite feature.
“The Signal Park team has been great throughout the buying process, and winning the Coronation Fortnum and Mason hamper was the cherry on top of a wonderful experience! Overall the process was very easy and we can’t wait to make memories in our beautiful new home.”
Hellyn Fairbrother, London and South East Regional Sales Manager, Guinness Homes, said: “The wait is finally over. After many months of hard work, we’re finally able to announce that Signal Park is ready to welcome its first residents!
“As reservations have been open for the last few months, we now have a number of homeowners in the process of moving in. It’s always a pleasure to help first time buyers find their first home, especially at a high-quality new development like Signal Park.”
Karen Hancock, South and West Sales Manager at Guinness Homes said: “After the success of the early preview event, it was fantastic to finally be able to show off everything McArthur’s Yard has to offer with the grand opening of the show homes. For buyers purchasing off-plan, being able to view our apartments in person is such an important part of the process, and this latest stage in the development is enabling us to make sure they have the best experience possible.”
