How can Shared Ownership help you?
With many schemes offering shares of just 10% right through to 75% options, you have a greater chance of affording a home that’s right for you through Shared Ownership than any other route in the market.
What’s the catch? To ensure Shared Ownership helps the right buyers, there’s a simple eligibility criteria in order to progress. A household income below £80,000 per year for Platform properties is required, along with not being able to afford a house on the open market.
Buying through Shared Ownership doesn’t mean compromising on quality. We’re building homes for the future in partnership with highly rated builders that you may recognise.
If you’re not quite ready for Shared Ownership, Rent to Buy can help you get there
Through the new Rent to Buy scheme, you can rent a new build home though Platform, paying a subsidised rent of 80%, whilst then having the opportunity to save the other 20% over a period of 5 years, to then purchase that very home on a Shared Ownership or Outright Sale basis.
This means you’ll be able to get comfortable in a home you know will eventually be yours.
