Plots 142 and 143 - Adaptable properties: The S106 states (5.1.2) that the properties must be occupied by Eligible Persons who are part of a household which includes a person who has a physical disability and/or a need for wheelchair access UNLESS otherwise agreed by the Affordable Housing Manager. Eligibility criteria: Please note that you will require a local connection as follows; Eligible Persons are persons: (i) identified by the Council as being on a low income and having low capital and who would be given reasonable preference for the offer of accommodation under Torbay Council’s allocation scheme, and (ii) who satisfy the requirements of BH2 of the Brixham Peninsular Neighbourhood Plan in that: a. they have had a minimum period of five (5) years in the last ten (10) years of permanent and continuous residence in the area of the Brixham Peninsula Neighbourhood Plan ('the Peninsula’); or b. they have lived in the Peninsula for at least five (5) years and whose parents or children are currently living in the Peninsula and have at least ten (10) years continuous residency; or c. they are a key worker as defined by the UK Government and are working within the Peninsula (iii) and if no person can be identified who satisfies all criteria, then they can satisfy (i) only.
