What is Shared Ownership?

Shared Ownership lets you purchase a share of your home and pay a subsidised rent to us, the property developer, on the remaining portion. As a Shared Ownership homeowner, you can treat the property as your own and increase your share over time through a process called staircasing.

Your starting share usually ranges from 25% to 75%, with a 5% deposit required on your share rather than the full market value of the home. This significantly reduces upfront costs.
